Abstract The authors of three recent monographs, Escape Line, from Vichy , and Nearly the New World highlight in particular relevance transnational refugee resistance networks. These books shed new light on trajectories refugees through war-torn Europe their routes out it. Megan Koreman displays Line researching one line functioning several countries thereby shifts common nationalistic approach research. In Eric Jennings researches government-endorsed flight route between Marseille Martinique explores lasting impact encounters Caribbean Negritude thinkers. Joanna Newman mainly Jewish who found shelter British West Indies, with a focus role aid organisations this flight.
